Ski resort Gubalowka is located in the northwestern part of Zakopane, at an altitude of 1123 meters above sea level. To the east of Gubalowka is the highest mountain village in Poland – Z\u0105b.<\/span><\/p>\n

From the top of the mountain, you can admire a beautiful view of the Polish Tatras through the valley below, as well as a panorama of the Zakopane and Podhale regions, the Pieniny mountain range and the Slovak territory.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gubaluvka tracks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Gubaluvka ridge stretches for 9 kilometers and has a gentle peak that stretches from Kotelnitsa to Butorovy Verkh. The first rail funicular with 108 seats opened in 1936. Other lifts and trails are located on the southern slope of Guba\u0142\u00f3wka and on the southeastern slope of its tip in Kotelnica.<\/span><\/p>\n

Several private drag lifts operate along the ridge on the northeastern slope of Guba\u0142\u00f3wka.<\/span><\/p>\n

A half-pipe was built for snowboarders on the Upper Glade. In total, there are 6 slopes in Guba\u0142\u00f3wka: 2 red and 4 blue, as well as several training slopes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entertainment and attractions of Gubalowka<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In Zakopane, there is a water park with water slides, outdoor and indoor pools, saunas and bowling, and on the way to Krakow you can stop by Rabka Zdr\u00f3j, where the Rabkoland amusement park is located.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lake Morskie Oko is located 12 km southeast of Zakopane. The lake can be reached by bus, which departs from Ko\u015bciuszki Street and goes to Polana Palenica. Further, a 9 km long road leads to the lake, entry to which is prohibited, so you have to overcome it on foot.<\/span><\/p>\n

Near Zakopane, on the right bank of the Danube, at the foot of the Pieniny Mountains, there is the Niedzica Castle, built in 1320-1326. Now, there is a museum in the castle with a collection of old printed publications and engravings with views of the castle in different periods of history, a collection of old clocks and hunting weapons of the 18th-19th century.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
