Boston is the capital of Massachusetts and the largest city in New England. This is one of the most historic, influential and wealthy cities in the United States. More than 16 million visitors come to the city every year to see museums, historical sites and an abundance of live performances. Boston is one of the ten most popular tourist destinations in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cambridge and Brooklyn are not officially part of Boston, but are functionally strongly associated with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each area of \u200b\u200bBoston has its own character and characteristics. Downtown is a tourist Mecca with a lot of attractions, business and shopping center of the city. In Black Bay, the most luxury is concentrated. In Beacon Hill you can find original brick houses, the same age as the city, and old gas lamps. And Boston’s Chinatown is the fourth largest in the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entertainment and attractions in Boston<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is best to explore the city by districts:<\/span><\/p>\n

Cambridge: Harvard Square, Harvard University and MIT; surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops; Harvard Yard building, Museum of Natural History with a large collection on the nature and geology of North America.<\/span><\/p>\n

North Quarters: The Witch Museum and the House of Seven Gables, which was the setting of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s novel of the same name.<\/span><\/p>\n

Charleston: Charleston Navy Yard is one of the country’s major shipbuilding centers; Boston Open Air Museum of Shipbuilding, home to the oldest ship in the US Navy, the Constitution; rope yard; the colorful Charleston Bridge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beacon Hill: Massachusetts State House; the building of the Old South Meeting House, which in 1774 served as the beginning of the famous “Boston Tea Party”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Complex “Symphony Hall” – “Business card” of Boston. Also of interest: Library and Museum. Kennedy, the Prudential Tower with the Skywalk Observatory on the 52nd floor, the New England Conservatory and the Huntington Theatre.<\/span><\/p>\n

The so-called “Freedom Path” runs through the entire city. This 5 km hiking trail will take you through all the places where all the historical monuments of the city and its most interesting sights are located.<\/span><\/p>\n
