The Masurian Lakes are located in Poland and include more than 2 thousand lakes. The lakes are surrounded by vast forests with landscaped parks and nature reserves. This region with a unique virgin nature is an ideal place for adepts of a secluded and relaxing holiday. Fans of active sports will also have something to do.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entertainment and attractions of the Masurian Lakes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the cities of W\u0119gorzewo, Gi\u017cycko and Miko\u0142ajki there are water tourism centers with marinas and bays, excellent infrastructure, recreation centers, hotels and shops for water sports equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gizycko<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The main attractions of Gizycko are the swing bridge, built in 1889 and the only one of its kind in Poland; the fortress of Boyen and the water tower.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aquapark<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In summer, the Tropicana water park in Miko\u0142ajki is very popular. Tropicana has water slides, several pools, a mountain river, dry and steam saunas, jacuzzi, snow and salt caves.<\/span><\/p>\n

Olsztyn<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The largest city in the region is known not only for its attractions, but also as one of the most popular ski resorts in Poland. High gates stand out among the architecture of the city – the main entrance to the Old City; the Gothic castle of the Warmian Chapter, now the Museum of Warmia and Mazury; the old town hall in the baroque style and the gothic cathedral of St. Jacob.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ryn<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Tourists come to Ryn to see the Teutonic castle, originally built in the 14th century and later reconstructed in the English Neo-Gothic style.
