Medical insurance policy
We provide assistance in obtaining health insurance in all countries of the world
Insurance for a visa
If you are planning to travel to a foreign country, you will need to take out an insurance policy. You should be aware that only the availability of medical insurance guarantees the provision of free medical services abroad and the return of a tourist to their homeland in the event of a serious illness or injury.
Benefits of visa insurance
We all know that even in the most civilized countries of the world, we can get into trouble. Severe poisoning, flu, trauma, toothache – who is safe from all this? That’s right, that nobody! The disease can occur at any time, and it will not ask where you are now. If you can not always prevent the disease, then at least you can prevent the troubles that await you in the event of an illness. And such troubles, first of all, include the high costs of medical treatment in a foreign country. Only medical insurance for a Schengen visa can guarantee you free treatment, without which, by the way, you will not receive a visa. So in any case, you will have to issue it.
How to get visa insurance
Many people who visit the websites of the embassies to look at the documents for obtaining a visa notice that visa insurance is a prerequisite. But the sites usually do not write where and how this insurance can be obtained.
To begin with, the insurance policy must be valid for all countries, and the minimum coverage amount must be 30 thousand euros. Usually, tourists are offered a visa with a validity period exceeding the period of stay in a foreign country. In the case of multiple entry visas, the validity of the insurance must cover at least one period of entry into another country.
You must buy insurance for a foreign country in your home country. The consulates will accept insurance from the companies indicated in the list, that is, the insurance company that claims to issue you insurance must have an agreement with an international insurance company with a particular country to which the trip is planned. When applying for a visa, you must have with you not only the original, but also a copy of the insurance. If, when submitting documents, you do not have insurance on hand, then the documents will simply not be accepted from you. It should be noted that if your visa application is denied, the insurance company is obliged to return the money to you. And if you were issued a visa for a shorter period than you would like, then you have the right to return part of the money spent on insurance.
The cost of health insurance is usually affected by the length of stay in another country. There is only one rule here: the more days you spend abroad, the more expensive your insurance will cost. It is also important how much you insure yourself. Usually, European countries need insurance in the amount of 30 thousand euros, only the Czech Republic requires 60 thousand. For other countries enough for 50 thousand euros.
