Attractions Vancouver

Vancouver is located in British Columbia, on the Pacific coast. It is one of the main ports in North America and the largest city in the province. It is also one of the most beautiful cities in the country. The central part of Vancouver is located at the foot of two large peaks – Hollyburn and Mount Seymour. There are 20 bridges in Vancouver, three of which – Burard Bridge, Camby Bridge and Granville Bridge – are movable.

Entertainment and attractions

The Science World Center is a 47-meter-high spherical structure topped with a silhouette of a dinosaur. It houses a modern science museum, where visitors can walk around inside the camera on their own, blow square soap bubbles or try to catch up with their own shadow.

A high-speed glass elevator will take you to the Harbor Center tower in seconds, with a simply breathtaking view of the city.

Capilano Park is ancient forests with many trails, Capilano Canyon and waterfalls. Also popular is Stanley Park with its seaside promenade. It is worth paying attention to Gestown – the oldest quarter of the city, the largest Chinatown in Canada, and the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Park.

Other Attractions: Nitob Japanese Garden, Van Dusen Garden, Christ Church Cathedral, Tropology Museum, Museum of Art, Vancouver Museum, Centennial Museum and Maritime Museum.

Be sure to take a trip on The Royal Hudson Steam Train, a replica of the train that the royal couple traveled across Canada in 1939. During the two-hour trip, travelers enjoy views of the rocky coastline and dense forests of British Columbia, the finale is the Shannon Falls and the railway museum.
