Oddly enough, the sun and the sea are far from the main factors for which many tourists endure not the lowest prices, lines in restaurants and crush on the beach. Ibiza is primarily known for its parties and discos.
The city of San Antonio and the capital of the island of the same name are the most party-like youth centres, where young people from European countries mostly relax, but our compatriots also meet. However, in Ibiza, you can still find relatively secluded resorts where tourists with children can have a great rest.
The main resorts of Ibiza
Portinatx is a family holiday resort, one of the most beautiful places in Ibiza, and the main point of sightseeing tours around the island.
Santa Eularia das Rio is located 21 km from the airport. It is a place to relax with the whole family. Directly within the city, there is a wide sandy beach, as well as excellent hotels and complexes of rented apartments.
Talamanca is a versatile resort, suitable for those who want to relax in silence and for lovers of nightlife. Talamanca is a quiet area, and from the capital with its wild entertainment is only a 5-minute drive.
In the resort of Playa d’en Bossa, there are many famous clubs, night bars and discos – both on the beach itself and in the capital of the island, which can be reached by taxi in 5-10 minutes.
Sant Antoni – in the “pre-season” months of May and June, as well as September and October, is popular with families with children and single couples – as well as those who want to enjoy walks, safe shallow waters of the bay and beautiful beaches. July and August – the time of active nightlife at the resort.
