It is hard to list all the attractions and entertainment in Berlin. It is one of the most cheerful, lively and cosy European cities. The best parties are held in local clubs. Entertainment and attractions

Due to the Second World War, very few truly historical sights have been preserved in Berlin. These are carefully restored cathedrals, residences and even entire neighbourhoods. But first-class museums and an abundance of original monuments will delight curious tourists.

It is worth starting with the never sleeping Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate. Nearby, a section of the infamous Berlin Wall has been saved. Its length was about 155 km, and its height reached 4.1 m. Now you can buy a fragment of the wall as a souvenir.

Among the monuments of the 19th century is the church in memory of Wilhelm Kaiser, the New Synagogue and the largest cafe in Europe, Kurfürstendamm boulevard.

The best viewing platforms in Berlin: are the TV tower on Alexanderplatz, the domes of the Reichstag, the Victory Monument in Tiergarten park and the ultra-modern panoramic platform, which is situated on Postdamer Square.

The main religious temple is the Cathedral or Berliner Dom, located next to Museum Island. Marienkirche is the tallest church in Berlin. But the church of St. Nicholas was turned into a museum, although this is the oldest religious building in the capital of Germany, founded in the early 13th century.

Berlin has a lot of great exhibitions of modern art and photography. For the curious, there is the Technical Museum, the Luftwaffe Museum, a collection of rare Meilenwerk cars, as well as historical museums.
