Berlin transport

Berlin transport includes underground and surface metro, trams, buses and river ferries. All modes of vehicles use the same tickets: Kurzstrecke for 2 EUR – the cheapest, three stops on the metro or six stops on the bus or tram without transfers; Einzelfahrausweis (3 EUR) – travel card for all types of transport within two hours; Single-Tageskarte (8.8 EUR) – a day pass for one person. Do not throw away the ticket until the end of the trip – controllers often appear, and the fine is 40 EUR.
